The Standex Consumer group is propelled by some of the most significant trends shaping life in America: the increasing demand for single family homes;
the growth of direct marketing as a preferred purchasing channel; and perhaps most importantly, the reemergence of religion as a spiritual force in the
U.S.
The growing interest in spiritual and family values and religious education for children place Standard Publishing and Berean® Christian Stores
among our most significant opportunities.
Berean stores are typically the dominant religious
outlets in their markets. Large and modern, the stores average over 15,000
square feet - generally much larger than its competitors and offering a much
wider selection. Berean®
stores also reflect the latest trends in book and retail
merchandising. Excellent customer service is a hallmark of Berean Christian
Stores, as reflected by customers in satisfaction surveys. At all levels in
the company, Associates are focused on helping customers to grow, live and
share their faith.
Standard Publishing is a recognized leader in providing

Christian schools, Standard Publishing is dedicated to creating, producing

From its offices in Texas, Standex Direct, DBA
Crest Fruit, L.P., captures a nationwide retail consumer group through its

Grapefruit continuity programs are a large part of the
business. Their success has lead

coffee. In addition, a variety
of gift baskets are prepared upon request, filling customers’ gift-giving
needs, particularly during the holiday season.
Customer retention is based on superior service, with a personalized
